I founded The Native One in 2017 when I was only 20 years old. Out of high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do. Instead of rushing into college, I decided to work full time to see what really sparked interest. I loved the retail environment and really wanted a place of my own. I began filling in the pieces of how to start an online shop - and loved every part of it. We began popping up at any local events around the Cincinnati area which really grew our presence locally and that led to the beginning of a brick and mortar presence.

I didn't have a ton of knowledge on how to build a company - but thankfully there is google. I manage everything from social media, shipment processing, customer service, order fulfillment, and am also the sole buyer and curator for The Native One. I am fortunate to have a team of 9 girls who help with the day to day operations.

The Native One is always evolving and transitioning. It is a reflection of who I am, what I value, and what I admire.

become an ambassador

As a Native One ambassador, you will be in charge of promoting our brand and products on your own personal social media accounts! We will send you a few of our favorite pieces that you can mix and match with items you already own! This will promote our brand, but still allow you to showcase your own personal style. Through various social media posts and other marketing techniques of your choosing, you will become the face of The Native One. We’re so excited to see how each of you takes on your position as an ambassador! Make it your own and have fun with your posts! Although our ambassador positions are UNPAID, you will be compensated through free merchandise and other promotional items. We will track your success as an ambassador through your very own personalized coupon code that we will send you! This code will give you and your followers 15% off. There will be a prize each month for the ambassador whose code is used most.

How many ambassadors will we take?

We’re building our brand and need as much help as we can get! We have no set number, we will be choosing as many girls as we think fit the part.
