Each lighter holder is handmade by a local artist and friend, Jenna Voet. It takes approximately 2 hours for each one to perfect the intricate knotting.
Jenna Rae Voet is a Kentucky-grown artist with a passion for visual communication, branding, and fiber art. She will be graduating from the University of Louisville this spring with a BFA in Interior Design, and a minor in Communications.
A hobby-turned-passion, fibers is an extremely important part of her identity as an artist. Fiber art has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that she taught herself to macrame. After watching a few YouTube videos and learning a couple basic knots, she knew she wanted to hit the ground running with the craft. She has spent the last two years experimenting with different kinds of rope, learning the endless possibilities of macrame, and building a brand for herself.
